NEWARK, Del. - - In conjunction with the State of Delaware initiative, the Wilmington University Athletics Department will take part in Sexual Assault Awareness Day on Wednesday, September 28 during its two home athletics events.
Wilmington has partnered with colleges and universities across the state of Delaware to bring focus and awareness to this important topic. Therefore, we are encouraging all fans to join our student-athletes and wear TEAL clothing or gear at either the women's tennis or women's soccer games on Wednesday.
The women's tennis team hosts its first ever home match at the Delcastle Tennis Center with a first serve against Caldwell scheduled at 3:30 p.m. The women's soccer team hosts Holy Family in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matchup at the WU Athletics Complex starting at 4:00 p.m.
