CACC to Honor Former Female Student-Athletes as Part of 50th Anniversary of Title IX

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - As part of the nationwide celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) will honor some of its most outstanding former female student-athletes during the 2022-23 season. The announcement was made on Tuesday by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara.

The conference will produce 12 features throughout the 2022-23 campaign, with each feature honoring several former standout athletes and terrific student performances in the classroom. Great teams will also be recognized, as former student-athletes from current and former member schools will be profiled.

Additional video interviews will take place during the 2022-23 season, as the conference speaks with current female administrators/coaches and student-athletes about how Title IXhas impacted them, and how they plan to continue to serve as role models for future female student-athletes.

The series gets underway this month and will continue throughout next June. The schedule for release for each profile is located below:
