During Lauletta's tenure, Wilmington maneuvered its in-house website to a Presto Sports client in the spring of 2015. He is also responsible for the creation of the athletic departments three social media identities: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. As of the end of the summer of 2019, the Wilmington Athletics Twitter account (@WilmUAthletics) and Instagram account (@WilmUWildcats) had the most followers in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Since Lauletta started working with the Wildcats with the 2012 New Year, he has seen 23 CACC Tournament Championship runs, 25 trips to NCAA Division II East Regional Tournaments, three NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament Championships, and seven trips to the NCAA Division II National Championships combined among the department's 16 programs.

Prior to Wilmington University, Lauletta served as an intern in the Sports Information Department at the University of Delaware under Scott Selheimer for a year and half. While at Delaware, he was responsible for the promotion and publicity of the Blue Hen field hockey, volleyball, men's and women's swimming, rowing, and baseball teams. He also assisted in the Multimedia Department under Jimmy Smith.

Lauletta received his start in the sports information world as an intern at Juniata College under Pete Lefresne. While at Juniata, he was responsible for the promotion and publicity of the Eagles field hockey, men's and women's soccer, men's basketball, swimming, track & field, and baseball programs, as well as all the multimedia efforts for the entire department.

Lauletta graduated from Elizabethtown College with a B.A. in Mass Communications in May, 2009. He was a four-year member of the baseball team, helping the team to three Commonwealth Conference Tournament Championships and three appearances in the NCAA Division III Regional Tournaments as a reliever.

Lauletta and his wife, Rachel, have two children, Joseph and Peyton, and reside in Oxford, Pa.
