NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced the 2017 All-Conference Baseball Teams and major award winners on Monday afternoon, and five Wilmington University student-athletes were named either First or Second Team.

Senior outfielder Rocky Ferrier and Sophomore pitcher Sean Deely were named First Team All-CACC while sophomore Kendal Small, junior pitcher Chuck Delagol, and sophomore reliever Dan Hyatt were all named Second Team All-CACC in a vote of the league's 12 head coaches.

The five student-athletes led the Wildcats to a 28-19 regular season record and the second seed in the CACC Tournament with a 17-5 conference record. They defeated Nyack in the CACC Tournament First Round game on Saturday to advance to the double-elimination portion of the Tournament starting on Thursday.

Ferrier (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) was named a First Team All-CACC outfielder finishing third in the CACC with a .368 batting average. He heads into the postseason leading the league with 67 hits and is sixth overall with a .448 on-base percentage. His 40 runs scored ranks eighth in the league while he's also stolen 19-of-24 bags, ranking second in the CACC. He became the first Wildcats since 2014 and only sixth since 2010 to hit two homers in a game, blasting two against No. 13 West Chester on May 2. He knocked in a season's best five RBI on April 12 at Philadelphia.

Delagol (Warminster, Pa./William Tennant) was named a Second Team All-CACC starting pitcher after going 5-2 in 11 starts as a junior.
