WATERBURY, Conn. - - The weather cooperated with the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball Tournament until Saturday, but the rains forced the Championship round to Sunday at Municipal Stadium at 11:00 a.m.
The Wildcats need to win two games on Sunday to earn their seventh CACC Tournament Championship after falling to Felician on Friday in the winners bracket game. Teh Wildcats then defeated Post to advance to the Championship round.
The Wildcats are looking to snap a six-game losing skid to the Golden Falcons, dating back to their final matchup of the regular season last year. Felician took all four games of the regular season this year in addition to the winners bracket game on Friday.
First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. with the if necessary game immediately following.
