NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University Athletics Department is teaming up with the Alumni Relations and Development Departments to host a baseball reunion to celebrate the program's rich history. The winning tradition began with the program's inception at the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) level and has continued since becoming an NCAA (National Collegiate Athletics Association) member in 2004.

Some things that have not changed between eras are the individual accolades and team success the Wildcats have experienced. Throughout the years, Wilmington has produced numerous all-Americans, all-conference performers, and league champions. They are also able to claim that they have appeared in the College World Series at both the NAIA and NCAA levels.

Dr. Stefanie Whitby, Director of Athletics, believes this event will serve as an opportunity to connect several different generations of Wildcats baseball. "The upcoming baseball reunion is an excellent opportunity to recognize the incredible foundation of success that our earlier teams brought to Wilmington. It is important that the players of today are aware of the rich history that came before them. Some of our recent alums could potentially benefit from networking and building relationships with the more seasoned graduates as they move beyond their college experience into the professional world."

The baseball reunion is open to anyone who played since the program's inception. Details are as follows:
