CACC Spring Spotlight: Dan Hyatt (Baseball)

Following the March 13 cancellation of the remainder of the spring 2020 NCAA athletics season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference instituted a Spring Spotlight series. Each of the 14 CACC member schools has been given the opportunity to spotlight a student-athlete that was off to a strong start in each of its spring sports.

Third on the list for the Wildcats was #WilmUBaseball's Dan Hyatt, as he was gearing up for a storng season on both the mound and at the plate for the Wildcats in 2020. He was leading the CACC with a .484 batting average, hitting 15-for-31 at the plate. Five of his 15 hits went for extra bases, hitting three doubles, two homers, and a triple to lead the CACC with an .839 slugging percentage. On the mound, he was 1-2 with a 3.18 ERA, and was second in the CACC with 23 strikeouts in 17 innings.
