Quintin Ivy Named Unanimous First Team All-Region With ABCA Selection

NEWARK, Del. - - Junior outfielder Quintin Ivy was picked as an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-East Region First Team performer, completing the trifecta and earning unanimous First Team All-Region honors.

Quintin Ivy (Camden, Del./Caesar Rodney) was also named First Team All-Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) earlier.

The outfielder finished with a slash line of .398/.509/.807 while leading the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with 12 doubles and finished second overall with eight homers. He led the Wildcats with 36 RBI while also leading the team with 29 runs scored on the year.

He was named the NCBWA East Region Player of the Week twice this year, doing so in back-to-back weeks. During that two-week stretch, he batted 17-for-31 (.548) with five doubles, four homers, 19 RBI, and 13 runs scored. He had a season high six RBI in one game, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a homer, and four runs scored against Nyack.

The Wildcats finished 2021 with a 16-10 overall record.
