Ashley Mundy begins her sixth season as the program's head coach in 2023-24 and now her 15th season overall on the coaching staff after completing nine years as an assistant coach for Wilmington University.  The Wildcats earned their eighth consecutive national championship last year at the 2019 UCA College National Championships in Division II Small Co-Ed and recently added another one in 2023 to make it nine National Championships overall.

Mundy is a 2007 graduate of Wilmington University with a degree in Business Management and was a member of the Wilmington University Cheer Team from 2004-2007.  During that time, she was a two-year captain, and won many awards including the Leadership Award, MVP Award, and Coaches Choice Award. Mundy is currently employed at Wilmington University as the Executive Offices Coordinator.
