Wilmington Golfer Zac Moore Named CACC Co-Player of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - After winning his first tournament as a Wildcat, Wilmington University junior Zac Moore has been named a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Co-Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Playing as an individual, Moore (Brantford, Ontario/Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary) was the only player to score under par in the team's head to head competition with Concord University on Tuesday. Moore posted a 69 (-3) at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W.Va.

He was named CACC Co-Player of the Week with Concordia's Juan Roa who led the Clippers to a fourth place finish at the Coaches Intercollegiate Classis hosted by California (Pa.). Roa finished second overall with a 76-72 for a 148 (+4).

The Wildcats return to action this weekend when they travel to Miami Beach, Fla., to take part in the Battle at the Shores hosted by Barry University. The two-day, three-round tournament will take place at the Normandy Shores Golf Course.
