NEWARK, Del. - - The only coach the Wilmington University golf team has known, Harry Jennings, has announced he is stepping aside from managerial duties while longtime assistant coach Mark Hall is taking over as the head coach for the 2018-19 season, Director of Athletics Dr. Stefanie Whitby announced today.

Hall has been a consistent voice and right-hand man for the golf program through Jennings' 14 years at the helm. Most recently, Hall has been the team's swing coach, helping the team to record eight consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament Championships and 14 trips to the Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournaments, including five NCAA National Tournament Appearances and a trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2016.

Jennings will step aside from managerial duties this season to pursue other business opportunities for the 2018-19 season. He will remain with the program as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

Jennings enjoyed one of the most successful coaching runs in Wilmington's history, being the head coach of all that was mentioned above. He has led the team to two NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournaments, including the first ever Regional Tournament Championship in Wilmington's NCAA era, and two Regional Coach of the Year awards.

In 14 years, Jennings has led the Wildcats to 44 tournament victories and 19-second place finishes. He has coached 49 All-CACC honorees, nine CACC Players of the Year, five CACC Rookies of the Year, 14 PING All-East Regional players, and two PING All-American recipients.

Hall and the Wildcats will again host the CACC Tournament, this year being played at Deerfield Country Club from September 29 to October 1.
