2016-17 Season (Redshirt)

At Delaware State: Competed on the indoor and outdoor track & field team at Delaware State – was the team’s leader the shot put in 2015-16, throwing it 10.20 meters at the Don Webster Invitational – also had the best distance in the discus on the team, throwing it 46.96 meters in winning the VCU Ram Invite event – had the team’s top three javelin throws of the year, finishing third at the Morgan State Legacy with a distance of 168-0.00 (51.20 meters).

High School: Competed in both basketball and track & field at A.I. DuPont High School – was named All-Conference, All-County, and All-State in track & field – won three championships in individual events as a high jumper and thrower.

Personal: Elijah Agwu – son of Eleanbe Agwu and Rachel Milano – has four siblings, Ava Graves, Isareh Agwu, Noah Agwu, and Gina Agwu – brother, Noah, runs track at UMES – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a detective – from Wilmington, Del. – favorite athlete is LeBron James – if he could date a celebrity, he would date Rihanna – favorite cartoon character is Lil Bill – favorite professional sports team is the Denver Broncos – the perfectly prepared meal would be a steak.
