The Wilmington University men's basketball team survived a late-game flurry by Lincoln University on Monday night. They held a 16-point lead with 7:00 minutes left but the Lions fought back and tied the game with 56 seconds to play. Justin Thomas hit a 14-foot jumper to regain the lead with 29 seconds left and then grabbed the rebound as the Lions missed their tying attempt down the stretch. Thomas finished with 16 points and seven rebounds while Jordan Jackson scored 16 points as well. Taalib Holloman added 10 points while Randy Rickards scored 8 points to go with 12 rebounds.
