NORFOLK, Va. - - Tied at nine, Montevallo used a 4-1 fourth quarter to overtake the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team, 13-10, on Saturday afternoon at the Norfolk Collegiate School.

The Wildcats (1-4) used a 4-1 advantage in the second quarter to hold a 6-5 lead at the halftime break. Chris Smith scored the final three goals of the quarter, the last on the man advantage to lead the Wildcats into the break, 6-5.

But Montevallo (6-3) answered by starting the third quarter with three of the first four goals, taking an 8-7 lead. Josh Burley drew the game even with a goal from John Novak but the Falcons had an answer once again to take a 9-8 lead.
