Brad Scull, Dylan McCleaft, and Noah Given All Named CACC Players of the Week for Wilmington

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Wilmington University baseball and men's lacrosse teams earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Players of the Week for the second week in a row.

Baseball's Brad Scull was named Co-Pitcher of the Week for the Wildcats, with men's lacrosse's Dylan McCleaft, who earned Player of the Week, and Noah Given, who was named CACC Goalkeeper of the Week.

Redshirt senior Brad Scull was named Co-Pitcher of the Week for a second week in a row after a dominant performance against Bridgeport last week. Scull went 8.0 innings, allowing only three hits, no walks, and no runs. He also tied his season-high of strikeouts with 11 in the game. The 6-0 win for the Wildcats gave Scull his second shutout of the season to improve his record to 4-0, which ranks him first in the CACC. He also leads the league in strikeouts with 39 on the season and is first in the conference with a 0.66 ERA.

Senior attacker Dylan McCleaft earned CACC Player of the Week for the second time this season for men's lacrosse. McCleaft broke his own (along with teammate Chris Smith) record of most goals scored in a game with eight against Chowan last Wednesday. He also had three assists for a program record 11 points in the contest to help the Wildcats to a 20-13 win over the Hawks. He also had three goals on seven shots against SUNY Poly, while grabbing three groundballs. He finished the week with a total of seven groundballs, three caused turnovers, and 14 points. He averaged 5.50 goals per game, 7.00 points per game, and had a .684 shot on goal percentage throughout both games. The senior leads the CACC with 23 goals on the season, is tied for third in the conference with nine assists, is ranked fourth with 45 shots, and is first in the league with 32 points.

Noah Given has earned CACC Goalkeeper of the Week for a second week in a row and the third time this season. The sophomore goalie made 19 saves for a .613 save percentage throughout two games for the Wildcats. Given made eight saves against Chowan and 11 saves against SUNY Poly for a save percentage of .647. He leads the CACC in goals against with 47 and is also first with a goals-against average of 8.81, while ranking third in the league with a 53.9 save percentage on the season.

Baseball's Dakota Grahman, along with softball's Rosa'Lynn Burton, and women's lacrosse's Lashay Ross all earned a spot on this week's Honor Roll. Graham had four hits, including a double and a triple, and three runs this past week against Bridgeport. He finished the week batting .400, an on-base percentage of .500, and a slugging percentage of .700. Junior Rosa'Lynn Burton had six hits and six runs for the Wildcats to help them go 3-1 on the week. Burton went 4-for-4 in game one against Pace with three stolen bases. She finished the week with a .462 batting average, a .533 on base percentage, and a slugging percentage of .538. Women's lacrosse's Lashay Ross had four goals on four shots with four draw controls against No. 22 NYIT last week.
