Logan Stinson Named CACC Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Freshman Logan Stinson has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week on Tuesday, as he led the Wildcats with 12 points in two games last week.

Logan Stinson (Lafayette, La./St. Thomas More) led the Wildcats with seven goals, five assists, 12 points, and nine ground balls as the team went 1-1 in CACC play last week.

The week started with Stinson scoring two goals and adding two assists at Chestnut Hill, scooping up a team high seven ground balls as well. He then came back and scored five goals while adding three assists for eight points at Felician on Saturday. He took eight shots on Saturday, with seven of his attempts being put on frame.

The freshman leads the team with 17 points on the year, scoring 10 goals while adding a team high seven assists as well. He missed the opener, so in four games he is averaging 4.25 points per game on the year.

Softball's Molly Dill was named on the CACC Honor Roll while going 2-0 in 9.0 innings pitched last week. Men's lacrosse's netminder Noah Given was also named on the CACC Honor Roll, leading the Wildcats by only allowing one goal at Felician, making 27 saves in two games. Finally, women's lacrosse's Brooke Siebert earned a spot on the CACC Honor Roll as well, breaking the single game program record with 17 draws at Caldwell.
