Logan Stinson and Jason Roland Named CACC Players of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - After leading the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team to a 2-0 week, sophomore attack Logan Stinson and junior goalkeeper Jason Roland were named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Players of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Logan Stinson (Lafayette, La./Thomas More) was named the CACC Player of the Week while Jason Roland (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) was named the CACC Goalkeeper of the Week after leading the team to wins over St. Michael's and Lake Erie.

Stinson scored 10 goals and added two assists for 12 points last week. His week started with three goals and two assists against St. Michael's, adding five ground balls in the 13-9 win. He then came out and scored seven goals with four ground balls at Lake Erie on Saturday. The seven goals are the second most in a game in program history, behind only Dylan McCleaft's eight against Chowan on March 13, 2019.

Roland anchored the defense in the two wins, finishing the week with an 8.43 goals against average and a .529 save percentage. He allowed 16 goals in under 114 minutes, making 18 saves. He recoded 11 saves while allowing six goals in a 13-9 win against St. Michael's, finishing with a .647 save percentage. He then went to Lake Erie and made seven stops in a 15-10 win, finishing with a .412 save percentage. He also caused a turnover in each game and ended with eight ground balls, six coming at Lake Erie.

Women's lacrosse's Taylor Lambeth was named to the sport's Weekly Honor Roll after scoring three goals and dishing out four assists for seven points at Kutztown. Her second goal of the game gave her 200-career points.
