Jamie Burridge Voted to 2016 CoSIDA Division II Academic All-District Men’s Soccer Team

NEWARK, Del. - - Senior men's soccer forward Jamie Burridge has been voted to the 2016 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division II Academic All-District I Team for a combined effort of his work in the classroom and the field, as announced by the organization on Thursday.

Burridge (Hertfordshire, England) carries a 3.89 cumulative grade point average during his senior season, majoring in Business Management at Wilmington University and was voted to the team by the East Region's sports information directors.

The senior is second on the team with 16 points this season, scoring five goals and adding a team high six assists. Two of his five goals have been game-winners. Burridge ranks third in the CACC in assists while his five goals rank 10th in the conference.

Burridge is one of four student-athletes from the CACC to be named on the team. He is joined by Goldey-Beacom's Cameron Wilkinson and Chahin Aghrim, as well as Concordia's Ovan Oakley.

The All-District Team is automatically nominated for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, which will be voted on and announced on November 9.
