NEWARK, Del. - - Wilmington University men's soccer head coach Nick Papanicolas will hold an open-tryout at the WU Athletics Complex turf field scheduled for Monday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m.
Any current Wilmington University student, high school senior, or junior college player interested in trying out for the 2017 fall squad should attend this open tryout. In order to tryout, contact must be made with Coach Papanicolas prior to the collection of the mandatory paperwork. High school and junior college players need to be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center prior to submitting paperwork.
Once you have reached out to the head coach about the interest in trying out, the following documents must be turned into Coach Papanicolas by Monday, April 3, either in person or by email at nick.d.papanicolas@wilmu.edu.

- A physical from your personal doctor within the last six (6) months
- Documented results of a sickle cell solubility test
The tryout will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the home of the Wildcats, the state of the art turf field at the WU Athletics Complex. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., so please plan to arrive early to get through registration prior to the tryout. Any student attending the tryout must provide his own practice attire and shin guards are mandatory.
