Softball at CACC Tournament Day 2

The Wildcats staved off elimination with a 7-2 victory over Post in game one on Friday, but Dominican was able to defeat the Wildcats, 7-6, ending their run in the 2018 CACC Tournament. After getting down, 5-0, in the early going, the Wildcats battled back to eventually tie the game, 6-6, int he sixth inning. But Dominican homered in the top of the seventh and the Wildcats left the bases loaded as Dominican escaped. The Wildcats now have to wait for the NCAA Selection Show on Monday to see if they made the NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament for the fifth straight season.
