A two-run fifth inning was all Renamarie Rocha and Kylee Gunkel needed as the Wilmington University softball team defeated Georgian Court, 2-1, in the winner’s bracket of the NCAA Division II East Regional 2 Bracket, advancing to the championship on Saturday. The Lions loaded the bases and scored a run in the top of the sixth, but Gunkel struck out a pair to escape further damage. She then set the Lions down in order in the seventh to complete the win.
