    Vying for its first playoff appearance since the 2009-10 season, the Wilmington University women’s basketball team had its heart ripped out as Goldey-Beacom stormed back to steal a 73-69 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory in the season finale.

    The Wilmington University women's basketball team held on to defeat Holy Family, 70-65 on Senior Day to put their record at 8-18, 8-10 CACC. Macy Robinson had a team-high 17 points. The graduate student from Wilmington, Del., moved into the top spot in program history for the most made three-pointers in a career with 233 when she hit her second made three-pointer of the night. Fellow senior, Nyree Grant finished with a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Freshman Emily Ansah scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds, as Kiara Eubanks finished with 12 points and Jadyn Whitsitt with 11 points. If the Wildcats win at Goldey-Beacom on March 2 it will give them the final spot in the South Division for playoffs.

    The Wilmington University women's basketball team came out on top against Caldwell, 75-70 to put their record at 4-15, 4-7 CACC. The Wildcats controlled the boards, grabbing 41 rebounds to the Cougars 34. Macy Robinson led all scorers with 25 points. Robinson made five of her six made threes in the first half and secured the double-double with 12 rebounds. Nyree Grant went 9-16 from the floor for 20 points as Kiara Eubanks went 9-11 from the foor for 17 points. Jadyn Whitsitt had a season high eight assists for the Wildcats.
