NEWARK, Del. – The Wilmington University's women's basketball team will host an opening weekend Tip-Off Classic as head coach Rob Miller has announced the upcoming 2018-19 schedule.

The Wildcats will have 29 contests for the season, including 13 home games at the WU Athletics Complex. The women will have nine non-conference matchups including two PSAC contests and an exhibition game at Hofstra University on December 29.

They will open the season at home in their Tip Off Classic tournament on November 9 and 10, where they will take on Stonehill College and the University of the District Columbia.

WilmU will have nine games before they have their first CACC contest of the year against Jefferson on December 4. They will have two more home games before they conclude the 2018 calendar year with a contest against Lincoln University on December 31.

The second half of the season will consist of 16 straight CACC challenges with mostly Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon games. The Wildcats will host their last regular season home game on Wednesday, February 27 for a 6:00 p.m. tipoff, before they end the regular season on the road at crosstown rival Goldey-Beacom on March 2.

Wilmington will look to be one of four teams in the South Division to make the postseason, which starts March 5 hosted by the higher seeded team. The CACC semifinals and championship will be held on March 9 and 10 at Caldwell University.
