They also had trouble from the foul line, shooting 11-of-23 from the charity stripe. The Lightning (5-5, 1-1 CACC) hit seven three-pointers and made all 13 of their foul shots in the victory.

Macy Robinson put in the first layup of the second quarter to bring the Wildcats to 20-15, but the Lightning rattled off the next 10 points to regain control, 30-15. The visitors took their largest lead of the quarter, 39-20, before Jadyn Whitsitt scored the final bucket of the half to cut the deficit to 41-25. The Lightning won the second quarter, 21-12.

Whitistt made a layup with 6:02 left in the third quarter to bring the Wildcats within 49-33, but an 11-0 spark gave the Lightning a 60-33 lead with 1:25 left in the quarter. The Lightning held their largest lead of the game late in the quarter, 68-36, carrying them to a CACC victory.

Kiara Eubanks scored six of her nine points in the fourth quarter as the Wildcats won the frame, 18-8, but it was too little too late as the Lightning won, 76-54.

Whitsitt, Jaelyn Durrett, and Nyree Grant led the Wildcats with 10 points each, while Whitsitt and Grant finished with six rebounds each. Eubanks scored nine with four rebounds, two assists, and three steals while Robinson added eight points, seven rebounds, four steals, and two assists.

The Wildcats have 11 days off before they return to game action, when they head to Holy Family for another CACC tilt on December 19. The opening tip is set for 5:30 p.m. in Philadelphia.
