NEWARK, Del. - - Wilmington University women's basketball coach Rob Miller has turned in his resignation as head coach of the Wildcats, giving way to assistant coach and former Wildcat Jamie Hensley to lead the program, effective immediately.

In order to focus on his recent promotion to Assistant Vice President of Administrative Affairs and the Dean of Instructional Locations at the University, with the inclusion of a new Brandywine site, Miller will step aside from the women's basketball program.

In four and a half seasons over two stints, Miller accumulated 53 wins, 38 coming in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. He led the Wildcats to the 2008-09 CACC Tournament Championship game against Philadelphia, and another trip to the CACC Tournament in the 2009-10 season. The Wildcats' season went down to the wire in 2016-17, missing the CACC Tournament on the final game of the season.

Jamie Hensley graduated from Wilmington in 2010 after playing for Rob Miller for two seasons. She took over the program officially on Saturday, leading the Wildcats to a win against Nyack. She will remain as the Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the season.
