NEWARK, Del. - - The incoming Winter Storm Harper has reared its ugly head this weekend, postponing the Wilmington University women's and men's basketball Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader against visiting Dominican on Saturday.
The games were originally moved up an hour to 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. to avoid Winter Storm Harper, but with the Governor of New Jersey calling for a State of Emergency, getting Dominican back to New York safely was at the forefront of the discussion.
No makeup date has been announced as of Saturday morning, but the games will be played at a later date at the WU Athletics Complex.
Both the women's and men's teams are home on Tuesday night when they square off agaisnt CACC South Division foe Chestnut Hill at the Complex starting at 6:00 p.m.
