NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has announced the 2016 CACC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners and Wilmington's Sara LeBrun has been named Second Team All-Conference in a vote of the league's 10 head coaches.

It is the second time in her career that the sharpshooting attacker has been named All-CACC, earning a First Team nod as a junior in 2015. LeBrun led the Wildcats (4-11, 3-5 CACC) with 36 goals this season, scoring in all but one game she's played in on the year.

The senior scored a season high seven goals in a close 10-9 victory against Caldwell, adding five goals the game before that in another close 10-9 victory against Dominican. LeBrun has tallied six hat tricks on the year, also scoring four times at Shepherd, three at West Virginia Wesleyan, three against Nyack, and three at Holy Family.

LeBrun ranks ninth in the CACC with her 36 goals, putting her at 96 in two seasons as a Wildcat.

Philadelphia's Liz Mower was named the 2016 Player of the Year while her teammate Isabelle DiGnazio was named the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year. Their coach, George Chic-Lucas was named the 2016 BSN Sports/CACC Coach of the Year on a vote of the league's sports information directors as well. Caldwell's Rachel Lucia was named the 2016 Rookie of the Year while Felician University took home the 2016 Team Sportsmanship Award.

The Wildcats are the No. 6 seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament, as they travel to No. 3 Georgian Court for a First Round game. The winner advances to play in the CACC Tournament Semifinals, also hosted by Georgian Court on Saturday, May 7.

The opening draw is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Lakewood, New Jersey.
