NEWARK, Del. - - The coaching staff of the Wilmington University women's soccer team has announced registration is now open for its WilmU Women's Soccer ID Clinic at the WU Athletics Complex in December.
The clinic will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10 on the turf at the WU Athletics Complex. The clinic is open to all female high school students (14-18 years old), including both field players and goalkeepers. The students will have the ability to focus on all aspects of playing the game, as well as an information session with the current coaching staff and student-athletes.
A brief rundown of the clinic includes: questions and answers session with WilmU coaching staff and players; team building and character skills; professional speed and conditioning training; technical ball skill and speed of play work; and small sided games and 11v11 competition all while playing on the WilmU soccer facilities.
The cost of the clinic is $105 per participating student-athlete with registration and payment all due online http://athletics.wilmu.edu/camps/camps-list.
All student-athletes attending the clinic are responsible for bringing outdoor cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball.
