NYACK, N.Y. - - Loran Wyrough secured a hat trick in opening 20 minutes and finished with four goals and an assist as the Wilmington University women's soccer team got back on track with a 6-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory at Nyack on Saturday afternoon.

It is the third time in her career that Wyrough has scored four goals, tying a single game program record. She also tied the single game program record with nine points, tying Kirsten Stallone's mark against St. Thomas Aquinas in 2007. Wyrough also scored four goals against Nyack in 2015 and against Bloomfield in 2016. She also holds the record with Stallone's four goals against St. Thomas Aquinas in 2007 and Teigha Ward's four goals against Concordia in 2016.

It didn't take long for the Wildcats (5-3-1, 4-1 CACC) to get on the board on Saturday, as Wyrough put in her first chance of the game in the fourth minute. Krysta Memis played a through ball and Wyrough buried the chance to put the Wildcats up, 1-0, just 3:21 into the match.

Wyrough quickly made it 2-0 with her next shot, this time getting on the end of a through ball by Rebecca Dolhansky just 7:52 into the match. Dolhansky then got her own chance in the 10th minute, working with Laura van Steveninck shortly after a corner kick to make it 3-0 just 9:33 into the contest.

Another through ball freed Wyrough in the 20th minute, this time from Alexa Smalley off of the back line. Wyrough capped her first half hat trick in her third goal of the game just 19:35 into the game, giving the Wildcats a 4-0 lead at the half.

La'Dae Boykin got in on the action in the second half, finishing off a combination play by Memis and Wyrough. Wyrough's cross found the head of the Boykin, who put it in for the 5-0 lead in the 64th minute.

Wyrough tied the single game record in the 69th minute, getting a feed from Preslie Quaranta to put the Wildcats ahead, 6-0.

Nyack (0-9, 0-4 CACC) avoided the shutout, however, scoring a goal in the 77th minute off a rebound.

It wasn't all positive for Wyrough however, as she collected a redcard in the 90th minute and will have to sit out their next contest.

Kate Tubo moved to 2-0 on the year in goal for the Wildcats, making two saves in the contest. The Wildcats outshot the Warriors, 25-7, in the match and earned more corners, 3-1.

The Wildcats step outside the CACC for their next contest, as they head to Bridgeport on Wednesday for a 4:00 p.m. start.
