LYNDHURST, N.J. - - Redshirt Sophomore Jessica Unsihuay scored two goals in the first half for the Wilmington University women's soccer team, holding firm in a 2-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory at Felician on Saturday night.

Unsihuay scored on the only two shots on goal in the first half for the Wildcats (2-4, 1-1 CACC), as they kept the pressure on in the second half despite not being able to find the back of the net. They outshot Felician (1-4, 1-2 CACC) 12-6 in the match including a 9-4 advantage in the second half.

It didn't take long for the Wildcats to get on the board, as Unsihuay scored her first of the season on the team's second shot. Krysta Memis played a centering ball from the right wing in the 11th minute, allowing Unsihuay to tap it in from in front of the goal for the 1-0 lead just 10:32 into the contest.

Unsihuay capitalized on the Wildcats next shot as well, this time finishing a cross to the far post from Kelly Robbins in the 32nd minute. The Wildcats had four more corners to close out the first half, but did not record another shot.

Kate Tubo made her lone save of the night in the 52nd minute after Felician put the pressure on early in the second half with three quick shots.

The Wildcats had three more corners in the second half and put Felician goalkeeper Jamie Kazenmayer to the test, but she came up with every save in the second half. She kept the game at 2-0 throughout, including back-to-back saves on La'Dae Boykin in the 89th minute.

Tubo made one stop in over 84 minute before giving way to Lisa Tiberi for the rest of the game to secure the shutout.

Saturday rounded out a three-match road trip for the Wildcats, as they return home for five straight games to close out September. The home stand starts with Chestnut Hill on Tuesday at the WU Athletics Complex at 4:00 p.m.
