NEWARK, Del. – Redshirt junior Kelly Robbins and freshman Cassidy McErlain scored the only two goals the Wilmington University women's soccer team needed in a win over Central Atlantic Colligate Conference opponent Holy Family for a 2-0 shutout at the WU Athletic Complex on Wednesday afternoon.

It was a dry first half between the Wildcats (5-5, 4-1 CACC) and Holy Family (5-2-1, 3-2-1 CACC) as both teams could not find the back of the net. WilmU had several chances on goal, including Cassidy McErlain's header that went just high above the net in the 32nd minute. Wilmington had seven shots to Holy Family's four.

Three minutes into the second half, Alex Keck set up Kelly Robbins in front of the net to give the Wildcats the 1-0 lead over the Tigers. Freshman forward, Cassidy McErlain scored her second goal of the season to give the Wildcats a 2-0 advantage in the 67th minute off of a pass from Krysta Memis.

The Wildcats were able to hold off the six shots by the Tigers in the second half. Goalkeeper Kate Tubo made seven saves in the game to record her second shutout of the season.

The Wildcats out-shot the Tigers, 16-10, in the contest. It was the team's fourth straight CACC victory.

Wilmington will look to finish out their four-game home stand on Saturday for homecoming against Concordia. First whistle is set for 12:30 p.m. at the WU Athletic Complex.
