WILMINGTON, Del. - - The home of the Wilmington University women's tennis team is receiving a facelift this offseason, and it begins with the opening of its indoor facility, as the Delcastle Tennis Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, December 7 to officially mark a new era in the New Castle County tennis community.

The facility includes six full-sized courts with LED lighting, as well as a heating and cooling system to allow players of all ages the opportunity to play tennis all year round.

The complex is also revamping its six outdoor courts, which will still headline as the home courts for the Wildcats moving forward. The indoor facility now allows the Wildcats the opportunity to move a home contest inside when dealing with unplayable conditions.

Co-owners Ron Sanna and Boubacar Toure held the ceremony at the new facility and welcomed community members from the area, as well as all those that helped make the facility possible, to the ribbon cutting.
