WILMINGTON, Del. - - In the final tune-up before the 2019 NCAA East Regional Tournament, the Wilmington University women's tennis team fell to Indiana (Pa.), 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at the Delcastle Tennis Center.

Andrea Ribalta was the only Wildcat that had success on Saturday, winning at No. 5 singles in a third set super set. After falling in the opening set, 6-4, Ribalta fought back to take the second set, 6-4, and then the third set superset, 10-6.

But that would be all the Wildcats would get in the match, gaining the other point at No. 6 singles by default.

Begona Gomar fought back to force a third set tiebreak as well, coming back to win the second set, 6-4. But she was unable to claim the victory at No. 1 singles, falling in the third set super set, 12-10.

The Wildcats dropped both doubles matches as well, falling at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by like scores of 6-4. They won the third doubles match by default, but the Crimson Hawks took the doubles point.

The Wildcats now wait for their seeding into the NCAA Tournament, as the selection show will air on Tuesday, May 7, starting at 8:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.
