TCNJ Take 7-2 Decision Over Women’s Tennis

EWING, N.J. - - The College of New Jersey women's tennis team remained undefeated on Sunday, defeating the Wilmington University women's tennis team, 7-2, at the TCNJ Rec Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Lions (11-0) took all three doubles events and the first three singles matches. The Wildcats (4-9) won at No. 4 and No. 5 singles to claim their two points of the day.

Newcomer Larize Nel stayed hot in her second match with the Wildcats, taking fourth singles with scores of 6-2 and 7-6 (7-5), giving the Wildcats their first point. Senior Sabrina Blasi-Smith picked up the second point for the Wildcats at No. 5 singles, winning a single super set, 8-5, over Julia Yoon.

The Wildcats are back in action on Wednesday, Mach 18 when they head to Mercer County Community College for a 1:00 p.m. first serve.
