WILMINGTON, Del. - - The Wilmington University women's tennis team only dropped 10 games in route to a 7-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match against Dominican on Tuesday afternoon at the Delcastle Tennis Center.

The Wildcats remain unbeaten with the win and now stand at 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the CACC.

Wilmington won both doubles matches played on Tuesday, with No. 3 being won by default. The combination of Larize Nel and Fenna Swaan gave the Wildcats the doubles' point with a 6-0 win at No. 2 before Neus Ramos Moreno and Jess Purdy earned the sweep with a 6-1 win at No. 1.

The match moved indoors after the doubles matches due to rain, but the move didn't cool the Wildcats down.

Fenna Swaan and Larize Nel won their singles matches, 6-0 and 6-0, at No. 5 and No. 4, respectively. Begona Gomar kept the momentum rolling with a 6-0 and 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles before Valentina Ivankovic won at No. 2 singles, 6-1 and 6-2. Reigning CACC Player of the Week Jess Purdy finished off the clean sweep with a 6-1 and 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles.

The Wildcats hit the road for their next contest, as they travel north to take on Post on Saturday afternoon. The first serve is set for 1:00 p.m. in Waterbury, Connecticut.
