Alex Siolos moved to the sideline after an outstanding playing career as a Wildcat. She played for head coach Kim Huggins-Habbert from 2012 to 2015 and is now in her second season as a coach in 2017.

Siolos left her foot print on the Wildcats program during her time on the court, being named to the All-CACC Third Team as a senior in 2015. She is the only player in the NCAA era to record more than 1,000 career kills, digs, and assists. She is fourth all-time with 1,039 career kills, sixth all-time with 1,260 career digs, and second all-time with 2,042 career assists. She also has 354 career total blocks, ranking third in program history, 192 career aces and 1,426 career points which both rank second all-time. Siolos has played in 494 career sets, the most among any player in the NCAA era.

The right-side, six-rotation player became the second player in program history to record a triple-double on Septmeber 7, 2013 with 10 kills, 22 assists, and 15 digs. It was the first time since the 2005 season when Wilmington Hall of Famer Angie Estep performed the task. Siolos went on to produce 12 career triple-doubles, including 11 as a junior in 2014.

In addition to coaching under Huggins-Habbert, Siolos is a personal trainer at 1614 Fitness & Aerobics and leads the Wildcats in its conditioning and weight training programs.

Siolos graduated from Wilmington University with a degree in Sports Management in the spring of 2016 and is currently pursing her Master of Science in Sports Management at Wilmington University.

Senior Season (2015): Third Team All-CACC – CACC All-Tournament Team – CACC Player of the Week (10/26) – CACC Co-Player of the Week (9/8) – finished third in the CACC with 368 kills on the season – led the CACC with 62 service aces, finishing third in averaging 0.50 aces per set – finished second n the CACC with 488 points, averaging the third best 4.0 points per set – ranked seventh in the CACC with 103 total blocks, averaging 0.84 blocks per set (ninth best) – also ranked sixth in the CACC with 90 block assists – finished the year with 15 double-doubles – set a new career best of 18 kills three times in the year, first against Kutztown on September 5, again at Chestnut Hill on September 23, and against Bloomfield on October 3 – collected a season high 23 digs against Holy Family on October 29 – had four matches with 20 or more digs on the year – had a season high 24 assists against Adelphi on September 4 – recorded a new career best with eight blocks twice, first against East Stroudsburg on September 20 and against Post on November 20 in the CACC Tournament Semifinals – finished her career with the most matches played (134), sets played (494), and points (1,426.0) in program history.

Junior Season (2014): CACC All-Academic Team – CACC Player of the Week (9/29) – appeared in all 34 matches and 130 sets as a junior – led the team in averaging 4.88 assists per set – second on the team with 387.0 points – third on the team in averaging 2.29 kills and 2.90 digs per set – finished fifth in the CACC with 45 aces – finished sixth in the CACC with 79 block assists and eighth in the CACC with 79 total blocks – shattered the program record by tallying 11 triple-doubles throughout the season – set a new career best with 16 kills in a match, doing so twice: first against Le Moyne on September 6 and at Kutztown on October 7, both part of a triple-double – set a new career best with 24 digs against Franklin Pierce, adding 13 kills and 26 assists for the triple-double – set a season high 29 assists against Philadelphia on October 22, also part of a triple-double – recorded a season high six blocks, twice, on back-to-back match early in the season: first against American International and then at East Stroudsburg on September 7 – ranks third all-time in program history with 251 total blocks.

Sophomore Season (2013): CACC All-Academic Team – Wilmington Academic All-Star – started in all 33 matches as a right side hitter and a setter – recorded the program’s second ever triple-double, securing 10 kills, 22 assists, and 15 digs against LIU Post on September 7 – led the team with 13 double-doubles on the season – finished fifth in the CACC with 67 block assists – finished seventh in the CACC with 41 service aces – finished eighth in the CACC with 78 total blocks – finished ninth in the CACC with 599 assists – recorded a new career high with 11 kills in two separate matches, first at Goldey-Beacom on October 15 and at Georgian Court on October 20 – recorded a season high 33 assists against Dominican on October 19 – recorded a season high 15 digs twice, first against LIU Post on September 7 and at Nyack on November 9 – recorded a season high six blocks in three separate matches, including a season high six block assists at New Haven and against Chestnut Hill – ranks fifth all-time in program history with 1225 career assists – ranks third all-time in program history with 158 career block assists – ranks sixth all-time in program history with 172 total blocks.  

Freshman Season (2012): Named CACC Rookie of the Week on September 11 – named to the Wildcat Invitational All-Tournament Team – fifth on the team with 168 kills (1.41 per set) and 260.5 points – recorded the second most aces on the team with 44 (0.37 per set) – paced the offense with 626 assists on the year, finishing 11th in the CACC with 5.13 assists per set – second in the CACC with 91 block assists, adding three solo blocks to finish sixth in the CACC with 94 total blocks – recorded double-digit assists in all but three matches on the year – was a kill away from becoming the second Wildcat in program history to record a triple-double in two matches, first on September 8 against Davis & Elkins (nine kills, 19 assists, 10 digs), and on October 26 against USciences (nine kills, 16 assists, 15 digs) – tallied a season high nine kills five times – recorded a season high 41 assists against Georgian Court on November 9 in the CACC Semifinals – recorded a season high 19 digs in the CACC Championship match on November 10 – helped on seven blocks against Post on November 3, a season high.

High School: Four year letterwinner in volleyball at Westhampton Beach High School under head coach Lenny Zaloga – helped lead team to the 2011 conference semi-finals, finishing 14-3 overall – named All-Conference and All-County as a senior – named All-Conference and All-League as a junior – earned the John and Esters O’Keefe Scholarship – also lettered in softball at Westhampton Beach as the centerfielders

Personal: Alexandra Nicole Siolos – daughter of Edward and Linda Siolos – has an older sister, Samantha – majoring in sports management at Wilmington University – from East Moriches, N.Y. – the most played songs on her iPod are Miley Cyrus playlists – if she could date a celebrity, she would date Channing Tatum – favorite movies are Mean Girls and Olympus Has Fallen – the perfect meal would be penne al vodka and mint chocolate chip ice cream – her ultimate achievement would be to win a banner.
