2013: Competed in three events for the men’s team as a sophomore – ran in the WUXC Invitational to start the year, the UD Invite, and the Princeton Cross Country Invitational – finished 26th overall at the WUXC Invitational, completing the 8K course in 33:01.33 – placed 57th at the UD Invite in 30:30.28 – finished 255th overall at the Princeton Cross Country Invite in 28:46.

2012: Participated in eight meets in the season consisting of the DVC Invite, WUXC Invite, RiverHawks, Philly Metro, Don CathCart, GBC Fall Classic, CACC Conference Championships, and East Regional meet – finished a season’s best 15th at the GBC Fall Classic – finished in a season’s best 27:47 at the Don Cathcart Invitational, placing 40th overall in the 8K – placed 23rd at the CACC Championship in 30:03 – finished 139th at the East Regional meet in 35:51.2.

High School: Two-year letterwinner in cross country at Dulaney High School under head coach Chad Boyle – earned the Most Improved (two times), and the Unsung Hero award – earned Honor Roll as a junior and senior.

Personal: Quinn McCabe Marvel – son of Ray and Claire Marvel – has an older brother, Kyle, a twin brother Tyler, and a younger brother Lucas – brother Tyler Marvel played baseball at Juniata College (2013) - majoring in psychology at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a child grief counselor – from Lutherville-Timonium, Md. – his most played song on his iPod is “This Is How We Roll” by Florida Georgia Line – if he could do anything besides being a collegiate athlete, he would join the Marine Corps – his favorite professional sports teams are the Ravens and Orioles – his perfect meal is pesto pasta with sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese.
