Awards: 2012: Wilmington Academic All-Star

2013: Competed in the first five events for the Wildcats as a junior – finished 20th overall at the WUXC Invite, finishing in 31:57.53 – fastest 8K time of the year was at the Princeton Cross Country Invite in which he finished 258th overall with a time of 28:52 – finished 53rd overall at the UD Invite in 30:25.84.

2012: Participated in the first six events of the season, including the DVC Invite, the WUXC Invite, the RiverHawks Invite, the Philly Metro, the Don Cathcart Invite, and the GBC Fall Classic – finished a season’s best 22nd at the GBC Fall Classic in 31:51 – finished in a season’s best 30:06 at the RiverHawks Invitational in 70th place for the 8K – also finished 26th overall at the WUXC Invite.

High School: Four year varsity runner for cross country, indoor and outdoor track at Ridley High School

Personal: Michael W. Wright – son of Michael and Regina Wright – father, Michael, played baseball at UMBC – majoring in business management at Wilmington University – from Ridley Park, Pa. – also enjoys fishing – favorite professional sports team at the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Phillies.
