2016: Competed in all seven events for the Wildcats during her freshman season – fasted 5K time of the year came at the Bruce Kirsch Cup in Hopkinton, N.H., running in a time of 21:52.7 for a 69th place finish – fastest 6K time came at the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament, running a 26:47.0 for a 165th place finish – best finish came at the WUXC Invite, placing 14th overall with a time of 22:54.84 in the 5K event.

High School: Ran cross country, and winter and spring track at Council Rock High School South – three-year letterwinner in track and a two-time letterwinner in cross country – honor roll student.

Personal: Emily R. Kockott – daughter of Mark and Gaylene Kockott – has two older brothers, Luke and Dan, and an younger brother, Callum – cousin, Rory Kockott, played rugby on the France National Team in 2014-15 – cousin, Nancy Kockott, played tennis at Tulane University (2001-05) – majoring in environmental science and policy at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming an environmental scientist – from Holland, Pa. – favorite athlete is her cousin Rory Kockott – also enjoys basketball and soccer – if she could be anything besides a professional athlete she would be a marine conservationist – the greatest piece of advice she’s ever received was that “its all mental. If you believe you can push yourself, than you can” – favorite professional sports team is the South African National Rugby Team, the Springboks.
