Mark Corrigan Repeats as CACC Male Runner of the Week for Wilmington Cross Country

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Junior runner Mark Corrigan repeats as Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Runner of the Week, finishing fourth overall at the Delaware Blue & Gold Invite, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

It is the third weekly award for the first year Wildcats, as he was named the CACC Male Runner of the Week on September 4 and again last Monday.

Corrigan led the Wildcats to a second place finish at the UD Blue & Gold Invite, finishing fourth overall with his second fastest time of the year, 27:20.60. Running at the White Clay Creek State Park course for the second time this year, Corrigan improved his time by nearly 20 seconds on Saturday. He will run the course once more in the CACC Championship on October 22.

Volleyball's Eile Harris was mentioned on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll after leading the Wildcats to a 3-0 week. She led the team in averaging 3.75 points per set last week.

Men's Soccer's Abdul Mansaray scored both goals of a 2-1 victory against Dominican on Saturday during Homecoming, earning a spot on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll as well.

Women's Soccer's Loran Wyrough tied her own program record with four goals against Dominican on Saturday, continuing to lead the CACC in goals and points. She was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll as well.

Women's Tennis' Andrea Ribalta went a combined 5-0 in leading the Wildcats to a 3-0 week last week. She went 2-0 in singles matches while also going 3-0 at number one doubles to earn a spot on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll.
