After making another par on 8, Russo shot a seven to close out the day with a 79 (+7). He is in a tie for 29th after the first round.

Braun was even par after the first nine holes, birdieing the first hole of the day and the 16th hole, making the turn with a 36. The day turned for the worse after the turn, as he posted a 49 (+13) to finish with an 85 )+13) and in a tie for 77th overall.

Lamb made nine pars on the day, making the turn at 45 (+9) before posting a 40 (+4) after the turn to finish in a tie for 77th with an 85 (+13) for the round.

Lunding and the rest of the Wildcats are chasing IUP's Kenneth Sames as he is atop the leaderboard with a 70 (-2). He is the only golfer to post a score under par on Monday, while Lunding was the only golfer to post an even-par score. The rest of the field finished over-par.
