Four WilmU Teams Earn Top BIlling as 2019-20 CACC Team Academic Awards are AnnouncedAugust 13, 2020The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) unveiled its 2019-20 CACC Team Academic Award winners on Wednesday, as six schools combined to take home the 17 honors for the 2019-20 academic year. The announcement was made by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara, as the school with the highest team grade point average in each of the league's 16 championship sports, was crowned the Team Academic Award winner for that specific sport.

CACC Spring Spotlight: Logan Stinson (Men's Lacrosse)April 15, 2020Following the March 13 cancellation of the remainder of the spring 2020 NCAA athletics season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference instituted a Spring Spotlight series. Each of the 14 CACC member schools has been given the opportunity to spotlight a student-athlete that was off to a strong start in each of its spring sports.

Men's Lacrosse vs. St. Thomas AquinasMarch 09, 2020A six-goal third quarter expanded the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team's lead as it went on to a 14-9 nonconference victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday at the WU Athletics Complex to remain undefeated. Freshman Logan Stinson scored six points, putting gin four goals while adding two assists. Giovanni Marino scored two goals while adding an assist, and Jacob Herman scored once and added a team high three assists. Jake Mollohan led the defense with three caused turnovers while Colyn Lyons and Jacob Herman had two each. Noah Given made 10 saves in net for the Wildcats.

Men's Lacrosse vs. Roberts WesleyanFebruary 19, 2020The freshman duo of Logan Stinson and Jacob Herman led the Wilmington men's lacrosse team to a season opening victory over Roberts Wesleyan, 12-11, at the WU Athletics Complex. The Wildcats went up 11-5, but the Redhawks fought back to tie the game, 11-11, in the fourth quarter. Stinson scored the game winner with 1:33 left in the game for the win.
