Nick Bruhn Selected to Play in 2023 USILA Senior All-Star Game

NEWARK, Del. - - Graduate student defenseman Nick Bruhn was selected to play in the 2023 USILA Senior All-Star Game, representing the South Team in a combined Division I and II game hosted at Cabrini College prior to the National Championships.

For the Division I and II game, Marist's Head Coach Keegan Wilkinson coached the North Team and Hampton's Head Coach Chazz Woodson coached the South Team.

Nick Bruhn (Burke, Va.), the CACC Defensive Player of the Year, paced the CACC with 26 caused turnovers on the season, finishing 12th in all of NCAA DII in averaging 2.00 caused turnovers per game. He was also second on the team, and first on the defensive unit, with 53 ground balls, appearing in all 13 games while making eight starts. He also got into the offensive mix on transition, scoring a goal while adding three assists this year. He scored at No. 3 Mercy and assists on goals against Caldwell, Bridgeport, and Chestnut Hill in the CACC Tournament. Bruhn had a season high 11 ground balls against Caldwell, while setting a single game record with five caused turnovers in three separate games.

Bruhn played alongside fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference student-athletes Dan Grubb (Chestnut Hill), Zach Schultz (Chestnut Hill), and Jack Clyne (Chestnut Hill), while playing against Michael Ventresca (Georgian Court) who represented the North team.

The North went on to win the game, 16-12, played on May 26 at Cabrini.
