  • Harvey Promoted to Head Softball Coach at Wilmington College

    Wilmington College Director of Athletics, Frank Aiello, announced that Erin Harvey has been promoted to Head Coach of the softball program.
  • Wilmington's Kelly Schirmer Named to NFCA Softball All-Northeast Region Team

    Wilmington College is pleased to announce that softball standout, Kelly Schirmer (Sussex Tech HS/Georgetown, DE) was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Northeast Region second team for her performance this past season. The All-Region teams were chosen by the head coaches in the Northeast Region, which includes teams in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the East Coast Conference, and the Northeast 10 Conference.
  •  Wilmington Duo Named to 2007 Daktronics Softball All-Northeast Region Team

    Wilmington College is pleased to announce that softball standouts, Kim Lawrence (McKean HS/Wilmington, DE) and Amanda Mucaria (Newark HS/Newark, DE) were named to the Daktronics All-Northeast Region second team for their performances this past season. The All-Region teams were chosen by the head coaches and sports information directors in the Northeast Region, which includes teams in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the East Coast Conference, and the Northeast 10 Conference.
  • Wilmington University Softball Among Nation's Best Academically

    The Wilmington University softball team finished the 2006-2007 academic year with a team grade-point average of 3.479 to rank seventh among all NCAA Division II softball programs, announced today by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
  •  Lawrence Named Pitcher of the Year - Three Wildcats Garner All-CACC Honors

    Freshman hurler Kim Lawrence (McKean HS/Wilmington, DE) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Softball Pitcher of the Year.  Amanda Mucaria (Newark HS/Newark, DE) was awarded first-team All-CACC honors while Heather Bush (McKean HS/Hockessin, DE) received second-team honors.
