NEWARK, Del. - - Fifth year head coach Kevin Day has announced a Wilmington University Women's Lacrosse Prospect Day for Sunday, December 5 at the WU Athletics Complex for all girls lacrosse players currently in grades 8-12.

The main focus of the WilmU Prospect Day will be on fundamentals with emphasis on collegiate level skills. Coach Day and his staff will take time to work on advanced offensive and defensive skills. The final portion of the prospect day will focus on small sided, instructional games, with emphasis on teamwork and communication.

Cost of the clinic if $50.00 per participant with registration and payment due online at https://wildcats.athletics.wilmu.edu/camps/camps-list.

The prospect day will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will be held outside on the turf field located at:

Newark, DE 19702

All participants will receive a WilmU reversible practice jersey.

Participants are required to bring their own gear as well as their own water bottle. Water will be provided on the field for refills.

For the safety of our staff, our players and you, our guests, participants must show proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or present a negative COVID-19 PCR test. The COVID-19 test result must be performed 3-5 days before the event and the negative results must be turned into Coach Day by Saturday, December 4 to be able to participate. Negative test results OR proof of vaccination need to be emailed to Coach Day at kevin.day@wilmu.edu.

The University asks that all guests wear a mask leading up to the active participation. Participants will not be required to wear masks once they enter the turf field and are actively participating in the prospect day.
