Eleven Wildcats Named to 2021 CACC Women’s Soccer All-Academic TeamDecember 16, 2021Ninety-four (94) honorees on Thursday were named to the 2021 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The total number of honorees represent all 12 schools that compete in the sport in the CACC.

Women's Soccer vs. Goldey-Beacom - CACC 1st RoundNovember 09, 2021The Wilmington University women's soccer team will advance to the 2021 CACC Tournament Semifinals for the first time since 2017 witha. 3-1 win over crosstown rival Goldey-Beacom in the First Round. The Lightning struck first with an early goal, but then the Wildcats fought back with first half goals from Jimena Garcia Risoto and Samantha Emmi to lead 2-1 at the break. Lauren Hoelke then added an insurance goal early int he second half to secure the victory. Women's Soccer vs. Chestnut HillNovember 04, 2021The Wilmington University women's soccer team secured the No. 4 seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament with a 3-1 victory over Chestnut Hill on Wednesday in the regular season finale. Kasie Lambert put away her third PK of the season for the 1-0 lead but then Jimena Garcia Risoto made it 2-0 just 55 seconds later. Chestnut Hill scored early in the second half but Jimena Garcia Risoto locked it up late with her second goal of the game and ninth of the season. They extended their lead in fourth place over Goldey-Beacom to four points with 2 games to play in the regular season, as the top four teams host a CACC Tournament First Round game. Jimena Garcia Risoto scored a goal and added two assists while Lauren Hoelke scored two second half goals in the win. Krysta Memis scored the first goal while Manuela Restrepo finished with two assists and Emily Navarrete added an assist as well. The Wildcats are now 9-4-2 overall and 6-2-1 in the CACC. Women's Soccer vs. Holy FamilyOctober 20, 2021The Wilmington University women's soccer team dealt Holy Family its first loss in CACC play on Wednesday, as the Wildcats defeated the Tigers, 3-0, at the WU Athletics Complex. Kasie Lambert started it with a PK in the 30th minute, followed by Jimena Garcia Risoto in the 38th minute. Krysta Memis capped off the scoring in the second half with a goal in the 71st minute. The Wildcats led in shots, 15-8, and controlled the tempo for the majority of the contest. Emily Camp was called on to make four saves while Emily Navarrete cleared a ball off the line as well. Men's Soccer vs. Holy FamilyOctober 19, 2021The offense came out firing on Tuesday afternoon, putting up eight goals against CACC foe Holy Family. They scored 22 seconds in the game with a PK and never let up. Shawn Genus scored 2 goals and had 2 assists while Marcus Hedemann ended with a goal and an assist. Paul Young Jr, Hakim Williams, Rochard Thompson, Shoki Yoshida, and Arturo Serano all ended with goals. Pol Romero also had an assist for the Wildcats. Women's Soccer vs. Staten IslandOctober 14, 2021The Wilmingotn University women's soccer team finished their nonconference portion of the schedule with a 4-0 victory over the College of Staten Island. Jimena Garcia Risoto was the lone goal scorer in the first half, scoring in the 15th minute. After the break, Manuela Restrepo scored int he 47th minute followed by Rockesha Dayes scoring twice, first in the 49th minute and again in the 54th minute.
