Sophomore Season (2020): COVID-19 postponed season – retained year of eligibility
Freshman Season (2019): CACC Defensive Player of the Week (9/9; 11/4) – led the team and finished second in the CACC with 644 digs (second most in WilmU single season program history) – finished fourth in the CACC in averaging 5.07 digs per set, becoming only the 5th Wildcat in program history to average more than five digs per set – appeared in all 34 matches and 127 sets as a freshman – had 16 matches with 20 or more digs – set a season high with 36 digs in a 3-2 victory at Caldwell in the regular season finale, fifth most in a single match in program history – also had 29 digs in two other matches – had double digit digs in all but one match on the year – had a season high five aces against Franklin Pierce in the Wildcat Regional Tournament.
High School: Played two years at Calvary Christian High School as a defensive mid/ defensive specialist before finishing her high school career at Tarpon Springs her junior and senior year as a libero – helped her team win the District Championship her junior year – Regional and State Champions her senior year – National Honor Society member – Class Secretary – named to the Dean’s List.
Personal: Elly S. Collins – daughter of Michael and Donna Collins – has three siblings, Karli, Kelsi, and Reilly – sister Karli played volleyball at Cumberland University and sister Kelsi played volleyball for Nyack College – majoring in accounting and finance with aspirations of becoming a financial advisor or accountant – from Tarpon Springs, Fla. – also enjoys working out, retail therapy, and playing Call of Duty – if she could date a celebrity, she would date Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull – favorite movie is Avengers: Infinity War – her biggest pet peeve is bad drivers.
