2013: Competed in two events in his first season as a Wildcat – raced in the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University and the Princeton Cross Country Invitational – finished 167th overall at Princeton, finishing in 26:25 – finished 228th overall at the Paul Short Invite, finishing in 28:26.

At Delaware: Member of the 2008 University of Delaware cross country team under head coach Jim Fischer – ran for Delaware Club cross country and track from 2009-13 – helped lead the club team to a sixth place finish at the NIRCA National meet in 2011 – helped lead the club team to an eighth place finish at the 2012 NIRCA National meet – graduated with a degree in History from Delaware.

High School: Four year letterwinner at Salesianum on the cross country team – earned the team’s Sportsmanship Award in 2008 – helped lead the team to the 2006 and 2008 Delaware State Championships – named a captain on the 2009 spring track team – member of the National Honor Society at Salesianum.

Personal: Mark James Hannagan – son of Tom Hannagan and Faith Patterson – has two older siblings, Dana and Tommy – earning his masters in educations at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a history teacher and a coach – from Wilmington, Del. – his most played song on his iPod is “Play” by David Banner – views Delaware coach Jim Fischer as a role model – favorite all-time movie is “Fight Club” – the perfect meal would be Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream.
