2018: CACC Rookie of the Week (9/4; 10/2) – ran in six meets her first year as a Wildcat – ran a personal-best 5K at the Chili Pepper Festival with a time of 19:50.2 to finish 158 out of 424 runners – ran a personal-best 6K at the Don Cathcart with a time of 23:19.78 to finish 9th – finished 2nd overall at the WUXC Invite with a time of 20:46.1 – ran a 21:27.1 at the CACC Championship to place 18th overall – finished in 96th place at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championships with a time of 25:39.00 – also ran in the Philly Metro, finishing 13th overall with a time of 21:24.3.

Personal: Grace Catherine Slater – daughter of Ed and Leslie Slate – has three older siblings, Chris, Olivia, and Riley – older brother Chris ran cross country and track at Clemson University, and sister Olivia ran cross country and track for East Carolina – majoring in marketing at Wilmington University – from Wilmington, Del. – also enjoys going to the beach – perfect meal would be an everything bagel with cream cheese – her spirit animal is her dog Kylo.
