The Wilmington University baseball team needed to win two games on Sunday to claim the 2015 NCAA East Region Tournament Championship and did so with a 5-3 victory over top-seed and nationally top-ranked Franklin Pierce in the opener and an 11-9 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas in the final. The Wildcats were behind, 5-0, in the final before mounting the comeback with a six run second inning.
